  • 150 g pork mince
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • ½ chopped onion
  • 250 ml chicken broth
  • 30 g tomato paste
  • 1 can butterbeans
  • 15 g grated parmesan
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley


  • Heat oil in a large pan
  • Add sausage meat and break up into small pieces with a wooden spoon. Cook for around 5min until brown.
  • Add crushed garlic and chopped onion and fry for 1min
  • Pour in broth, add pureed tomato/paste. Bring to a boil then add beans. Stir, lower heat, cover and simmer for 10-15min, stirring occasionally
  • Stir in parmesan cheese and parsley
  • Enjoy with a crusty roll
